According to court documents filed yesterday with the judge overseeing the class action lawsuit against the DNC alleging election fraud and demanding that the DNC give Bernie Sanders donors their money back, lawyers for the plaintiffs in the case received an unsolicited contact from the congressional office of former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Apparently the clown that made the phone call to the law firm that is suing the DNC and DWS was using a voice changer (the law firm suspects it was Debbie herself) and actually forgot to disable caller ID!
“I’ve never encountered a situation quite like this in my practice.”
One of the attorneys for the plaintiffs, Jared Beck, told the Observer:
“I’ve never encountered a situation quite like this in my practice, but I have seen situations where one party has made unsolicited contact with lawyers on the other side. In such situation, I believe it is a lawyer’s responsibility, as officer of the court, to make prompt notification to the court of any unsolicited communications received, which is what we did in this case.”
The exact consequences of this harassing and shady phone call from Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s office are not as yet entirely clear. At best however, it is worth noting that she and her office will very likely be investigated further for this strange and suspicious behavior, and that at the very best, she will be reprimanded by the court and hurt her standing in the case, which seeks $300 million restitution from the Democratic National Committee for defrauding Bernie Sanders supporters into donating money on the demonstrably false premise that their donations may have had a meaningful impact in a fair and democratic presidential nomination process.
At worst there may be more charges to add to the litany of allegations against Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC. Either way, her public credibility is further damaged as this recent episode validates what we already all knew about DWS and many of the goons at the DNC– they are a bunch of clowns.
Attorney Elizabeth Lee Beck explains in an email about what occurred:
” Defense counsel:
At 4:54 p.m. today, an individual called our law office from “305-936-5724.” See attached photo of the caller I.D.
The caller refused to identify himself/herself, but asked my secretary about the Wilding et al. v. DNC et al. lawsuit. My secretary stated that it sounded like the caller was using a voice changer, because the voice sounded robotic and genderless — along the lines of the voice changers used when television show interviews are kept anonymous. The caller concluded with “Okey dokey,” after my secretary gave the caller public information about the case.
After the call ended, a simple Google search of the phone number “305-936-5724” shows that it is the phone number for Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ Aventura office, https://wassermanschultz.house.gov/contact/. See attached screenshot.
What just occurred is highly irregular and we will be filing the instant e-mail with the court forthwith.”
“Okey dokey!” The level of clowning is unbearably funny. The total lack of discretion or care in hiding her office’s publicly known phone number from caller ID while taking pains to use a voice changer is just classic. No wonder these people got their emails hacked. Their password was probably “password.”
